Randy enjoys swimming in the bay of French coastal town La Rochelle. He enjoys accompanying boats and making friends with other swimmers. Experts, fearing he may get hurt by a propeller or harm someone accidentally, are trying to persuade him to act a little less like Flipper and little more like the wild dolphin that he is.

The Mediterranean is the most polluted sea in the world, and some scientists are on a sailboat studying the problem by collecting plastic samples for analysis. For a few hundred euros, some excursions are open to the public, who get an opportunity to help the cause.

In June 2011, a demonstration was held in Paris to protest nuclear power. Among the demonstrators were two precocious little girls who had a lot to say on the subject. The interviewer could hardly get a word in!
