Lionel is with Roger in the town of Domrémy, the birthplace of Joan of Arc. You will discover the statue of the three saints who spoke to Joan at the age of thirteen and a half, as legend has it.

Daniel Benchimol takes us to Médan, a small town to the north of Paris. In addition to a few fifteenth-century landmarks, this town attracted famous poets and writers. Among those writers was Émile Zola, although in this video, he's featured in another capacity that might surprise you.

Cyril and Lionel end our visit to the citadel by showing us where the officers of the garrison slept. And why not take them up on their invitation to visit the citadel in person during your future travels?

Lionel takes us to a bakery, not the modern kind, but one located beneath the citadel of Bitche. The four giant ovens could each bake five hundred rations a day to feed up to two thousand soldiers!

Cyril walks us through the underground passages where livestock was kept and troops were housed during the 1870-71 siege of Bitche.

We continue our tour of the citadel of Bitche deep in its underground passages, which contain a large well that dates from the Middle Ages.

You will discover in this video the great history of Bitche, a medieval city in the east of France. Its citadel, an important line of defense in the Thirty Years' War, was rebuilt on the ruins of a castle dating back to the twelfth century.

Lionel and Hamid are in the Parc de la Villette in the northeast of Paris. The area has changed a lot and now boasts an IMAX theater, vast green spaces, game areas for children, and much more.

Daniel shows us some more treasures from the Sceaux domain, including the orangery and the rose garden, as well as the beautiful Dawn Pavilion. The estate also includes something that is fairly rare in France: a dog park!

Sceaux is full of many historical treasures, including a castle and an orangery, as well as an esplanade that became famous more recently as the site of a historic concert by Madonna in 1987. Watch the video to find out which French president was there (and the legend attached to his attendance!).

In addition to its historic castle, the town of Sceaux is also home to a group of vegetated islets that provide passersby with a place to rest and wild birds with a place to nest. The castle grounds also include an orangery and numerous pavilions to explore.
