Gabriela works as a housekeeper for a middle-class family. Yann, the son of homeowner Sabine, falls in love with Gabriela and gradually the relationship blossoms, until it is no longer a secret. Sabine thinks Gabriela is not worthy of her son's interest.

Sabine's suspicions have been confirmed, and she's putting pressure on Gabriela to give up her relationship with her son. Gabriela's job is in jeopardy, and she can't afford to lose it.
